Jobs

Chromatik is looking for world-class talent to redefine how people practice, perform, and teach music.

The process of learning music hasn’t changed since the days of Bach and Beethoven — clearly not the best solution for today’s musician. As a result, Chromatik has assembled a team of entrepreneurial music aficionados to bring the best music learning experiences to musicians’ fingertips.

While still in private beta, Chromatik products have already been adopted by Apple Education, American Idol, UCLA, and the Los Angeles Unified School District, with over 15,000 practice hours logged on the platform already. Chromatik is also backed by an incredible group of investors and advisors, including Kapor Capital, Learn Capital, 500 Startups, Dr. Jennifer Snow, Mike Jones, and Jay LeBoeuf.

That said, Chromatik is adding a few key individuals to its core team. These positions are not your typical engineering roles, rather we’re looking for individuals to own their part of the Chromatik platform. Your vision will drive major product decisions, and your work will immediately impact the way people learn and perform music.

We expect that whoever takes on a role with Chromatik will have an entrepreneurial spirit in addition to serious technical chops. And last, but definitely not least, we require that you have some musical background. It doesn’t matter if you play classical violin or rock guitar, Chromatik is building a next-generation music education/performance platform, and we expect that your personal insight will help guide product development.

All employees receive competitive salary, benefits, and equity package. And we offer both city and beach — Chromatik has offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco (SOMA), CA. So you can choose the location you’d prefer to work from!
